Would like to do a marathon and possibly qualify for Boston... Though I haven't found the desire to actually attempt a marathon yet. I see too many people getting injured during training... Kind of leaves me wondering what the point is. Personal: Married. 36 years old. I ran cross country in high school and pretty much hated every minute of it. After high school I didn't run again for 17 years. Somehow I got talked into running the Wasatch Back Relay in 2007 and found that this time around with the right shoes and socks I actually like running. I haven't stopped running since. |

| This was a beautiful scenic race. The course is flat and the weather was perfect. I ran an 8:04 pace. Unfortunately, it was the director's first race and even though he capped the race entries I think he was overwhelmed by the response. Things were a little disorganized and they timed the race with some interesting timing chips (carrier pigeon race chips pinned to the race bibs). There were no bathrooms at the start line (saw a few people running over to a farmer's field) and there was not a clock display at the finish line. Luckily, I had my trusty Garmin Forerunner 305. Overall though it was a fun race and I would run it again just for the scenery. |

| Leg 9 of Wasatch Back Relay. 7: 53 pace. HOT! It hadn't been warm all year, but the weather turned hot this week. The heat just sucked the energy right out of me and left me with little desire to run the other legs. |
